Margaret Murphy

Margaret Murphy is a proven leader in the consumer, employee, and channel marketing arenas. Her strength is in building relationships with key clients and partners to deliver innovative and integrated services that drive results. Murphy has over 16 years of experience in marketing services and most recently was Senior Vice President, Client Services Midwest for Carlson Marketing Worldwide.
Murphy has helped Fortune 500 companies such as GE, Office Depot, and Bank of America focus on building deeper relationships with their key audiences by identifying, developing, and delivering insight-driven marketing strategies and initiatives. Early in her career, Murphy leased and managed a restaurant as well as managed a retail complex enabling her to focus on creating participation among browsing customers that lead to transactions and YOY comp sales growth.
Recognized consistently for her ability to help clients grow their business, Murphy earned the top internal award within Carlson Companies, a Carlson Fellow (“Curtie”) for Customer Service. In 2006, Murphy was also named to the “Top 40 Under Forty” by Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal, an honor bestowed on visionaries and forward-thinkers.
Murphy earned her MBA from the University of St. Thomas and her undergraduate degree from the College of Saint Benedict’s. Murphy is also a graduate of Carlson’s Executive Leadership Program (ELP) through the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.
